- Local Database (Room Storage): Favorites, playlists, saved edits, and user settings are stored locally on your device only.
B. Device and Performance Data
The App uses standard system features for background operations and notification controls:
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Keeps the App active while editing audio files or rendering previews in the background.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Displays notifications for playback controls and editor actions when needed.

To keep the App free, Audio Tag Editor integrates third-party services that may collect anonymous device information for ad serving and analytics.
